3. Power off Infrared or Bluetooth options when not in use. These are used for media files and data conveying on cellphones (available on some cell phone models)

4. Avoid in commission your mobile on trembling alert unless absolutely de rigueur. Some cell phones having this feature can be plotted to run for incoming calls, when a new message is received or clock alarm. Use ringtones instead.

5. Avoid playing Java (J2ME) and Symbian games for long hours on your mobile. Games require much array power/charge to run (the sight screen and the sound/music played). Some other cell phones include a vibrating alert for additional appeal.
