If you swear by the iconic Apple iPhone, then its time you laid your hands on LG's latest offering, the KM900 Arena. This smart and sleek phone is set to give the iPhone a run for its money. The KM900 has a 3-inch WVGA screen with a video call camera at the top and three touch buttons at the bottom. A brushed silver strip runs around the screen along with a shiny silver border. The rest of the body is made of silver-white fake.

The highlight of the LG KM900 is the S-class user interface(UI) urban by the company. The underlying principle of the interface is the cube and it can be safely called one of the smoothest UIs seen on a touchscreen phone. The capacitive screen responds well to the finger and all visual transitions - like revolving of the cube - happen without a hitch. The phone has four home-screens. Each of these can be accessed just by swinging a finger across the screen. These screens have been divided into four segments: shortcut, widgets, contacts and multimedia.

Needless to say one can add and delete functions on all screens by simple dragging and dropping them. A small cuboid button at the bottom of the screen - between the calling keys - lets users see the cuboid structure. The shortcuts can be arranged as a grid or a roller.

The KM900 is loaded with a number of multimedia features. The 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash clicks excellent pictures. The peak image pledge can be set at 2560X1920 pixels. The camera has features like image stabiliser, unremitting shot, self timer, face tracking, geo-tagging, etc. The LED flash is of not much help and a Xenon flash would have been delightful.

Another impressive feature of the KM900 is the sound feature. Music features include a music player and FM radio. The phone gives excellent sound through the headphones as well as the amplifier. Songs can be sorted on the basis of album, artists and genre.

The 1000 mAh array gives a fantastic performance and with constant music and calling it easily lasts for a day. But, the headphones have top secret functionality and can only be used for listening to calls and music. The phone also comes with motion sensor gaming for your entertainment needs.
